For All the Saints
Week of Oct 30, 2013
This week at Saint
Matthew’s, we are celebrating All Saints Sunday. Our
hope for you this week is that you can spend time during your Faith5, sharing
stories of saints in your lives, and being saints to one another. May your time together help your family to
strengthen your faith and your relationships with each other and our awesome
God.
Remember the Faith 5 is 5
simple steps:
1. SHARE highs and lows of the day2. READ and highlight a verse of Scripture in your Bible
3. TALK about how the verse relates to your highs and lows
4. PRAY for your highs and lows, your family and the world
5. BLESS one another.
Share: Who is
someone who showed you God’s love today?
What is one way you shared God’s love with others today? Who was someone who was a saint to you today?
Read:
Wednesday-Hebrews 12:1Thursday-1 Thessalonians 4:3
Friday-1 John 3:2
Saturday-John 3:16
Sunday-Romans 6:4
Monday-Isaiah 26:19
Tuesday-Isaiah 25:8
Talk: What does the daily reading mean to you? How does it apply to you? To how your day has gone?
Pray: For those
grieving the loss of loved ones, for the generations that have come before us,
for the generations that will come after us
Bless: Hold hands as a family in a circle. As you squeeze the person’s hand on your
right, say “May you know that you are surrounded by God and his love.”
